Versatile in nature and running as a stand-alone solution, X-Pert Playout (XP) provides the necessary playout automation processes, needed in today’s broadcast facilities. Its modular architecture makes it suitable not only for broadcasting organizations of any size but for media professionals who need seamless content playout automation. Available in UHD/HD/SD-SDI or IP streaming, X-Pert Playout secures unattended operations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
MPEG2, AVC/H.264, HDV and DV compression scalability, hardware independence are the typical highlights of X-Pert Playout. Ideally suited for time-critical live operations. Professional device support through GPI, RS232, VDCP is also available. Redundant playout makes it perfect for fail-safe environments.
X-Pert Playout Multi Parallel Output – XP MPO enables the running of two or more outputs so that broadcasters can easily provide parallel outputs in any combination needed to deliver the content. UHD SDI, HD SDI, SD SDI (with real-time re-scaling) playout and IP streaming output, or for example, output in H.264 (MPEG-4) and MPEG-2 at the same time.
X-Pert Playout supports MPEG1/2/H.264, HDV and DV streams from virtually every known production platform providing AVI, MPEG, WMV, Quick Time or MXF content. Files from third-party servers are natively supported.
For live productions, any changes to the playlist during on-air session are possible. There are no qued or locked clips. Every clip in the playlist, except the one which is currently playing, can be trimmed, edited or re-positioned. Moreover, playlist order can be changed on-the-fly with commands like skip to next or jump. Such order changes are performed seamlessly without stopping the current playout session. Live productions are facilitated by the powerful Live Show presets which allows insertion and/or execution of various events or live streams.

X-Pert Graphics (XG) is a sophisticated, yet extremely user-friendly on-air CG and graphics manager. It lets you create different static or dynamic objects such as rolls, crawls, multi-layered simultaneous still pictures, analogue and digital clocks, animated logos , etc., and save them in projects. Those could easily be used for direct broadcasting or as customized templates for future use. In addition, X-Pert Graphics has a built-in Scheduler which lets you start objects from previously created project(s) at different times.
X-Pert Graphics can run as a standalone solution or run in the background, without its front-end interface. This allows all objects and slide actions to be triggered by a third-party OEM software which sends its script commands via network protocol.
X-Pert Graphics is designed to work in sync with the X-Pert Playout. This allows objects in X-Pert Graphics to be started or stopped by using the X-Pert Playout. This is achieved by inserting X-Pert Graphics Net control events in the X-Pert Playout playlist. X-Pert Graphics control can also be automated using scripts triggered by metadata condition from X-Pert Playout. The playlist metadata value from X-Pert Playout can be sent to the text objects.
X-Pert Graphics provides powerful tools for project preparation and extensive control over on-air graphics. The projects may include:

X-Pert Ingest (XI) enables multiple channels of HD or SD content to be captured from HD/SD SDI digital feeds, analogue sources and MPEG transport streams. Four video sources can be monitored on a single screen and controlled via a new streamlined user interface. In addition audio levels can be monitored as loudness/true-peak displays and adjusted when required.
Content ingested to X-Pert Ingest is available for playback within a few seconds of capture commencing. The X-Pert Ingest feature set also includes capture-list import from third-party traffic systems, support for CEA-608/708 closed-captioning and automated VTR control via RS-422 with batch-capture listing.
Features:
